Grandpa Laurence finished restoring his '52 Hudson, and we got to take it for a spin. The kids all have a blast just sitting in it, opening and closing doors, holding onto the steering wheel, rolling windows up and down, and (of course) bouncing on the seats. I'm not too sure Grandpa likes that bouncing on the seats business!
The kids think it's pretty cool Grandpa has Doc Hudson from
Cars.
As you can see, it's just a lot of fun, and I'm sure this sort of thing builds lasting memories for wide-eyed grandkids!

What a great looking car! The kids look like they are having a great time (especially Clayton in the trunk, just imagine what he could do in there!).
This is sooo cool! I'm so glad your dad finally finished it! What fun for him and the grandkids.
Wow! The car turned out great. I feel some connection to this. I insisted Bruce come with his grandkids to see Cars. Then he called Brent and told him he had to see it. I know the two brothers both always talked about how fast the old "Hudson" was. Will they still go out and drag Logan?
What a beauty!
I'm just so glad to see that your blog lives...now I need to try to breathe some life into mine.
Whoa, totally cool car. It looks exactly like Doc Hudson!
